1983 Diesel Mercedes for sale by owner. This car would be good for someone who either wants to restore it or someone who has one already and wants this one fo parts (cause parts for this car can be difficult to find or expensive). THE BAD NEWS: I used this car primarily for work. The car needs a paint job, and the interior isn't too great either. The front passenger window (oops) is busted but the interior has been protected from the weather. It does have power windows but the system needs to be fixed. Due to a whacky mishap involving locking my keys in the trunk it has to be opened with a screwdriver, but this can be fixed as well. The car could also use a front end allignment. Now for THE GOOD NEWS: The car runs well and is drivable. I have driven this car for years and have replaced alot of parts on the engine to keep it running good. Hell, you could put this engine on a boat. Since the engine runs on diesel, it gets good gas mileage. I used to put at least $30 a week in it and that would usually last a week in a half to 2 weeks. It has no dents (see pics). I have alot of optional parts for it too at no extra charge like a roof rack, bike rack, the original car jack, etc. I simply have another car now and don't need this one anymore, but would rather not junk it and would like to see it go to a good use. $500 OBO.
