Sizeler Thompson Brown Architects, a 35 person architecture firm in New Orleans, is seeking an experienced Office Manager. We are an architectural and interior design firm of professionals dedicated to providing quality creative and technical expertise for private clients and public institutions.
In addition to the job duties listed below, the ideal candidate will support company operations by maintaining office management and supervising administrative staff in coordination with our Principals and Associates. Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Office Management in a professional office environment. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities to Include but Not Limited to:

• Manage Administrative staff
• Assist as back up for administrative job functions
• Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office operations
• Assist in administrative support for project managers
• Assist with staff recruitment, hiring and on-boarding of new employees
• Provide assistance in monitoring employee performance review process
• Management of all office equipment and supplies
• Assist in organizing and coordinating office events including meetings, in and out of the office
• Provide support on special projects and duties as requested by Principals, Associates and Accountant
• Assist with accounting functions as directed by Principals and Associates
• Maintain office policy and procedure manual in coordination with Principals and Associates; make recommendations for necessary adjustments
• Assist Principals and Associates with establishing and maintain employee benefits packages
• Provide compensation laws, compliance regulations, record management and retention for employees

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in office management
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skill • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and payroll software)
• Excellent time management skills
• Must be able to multi-task, delegate, meet deadlines, be organized and accurate
• Must be able to work without supervision
• Foster teamwork
• Architectural/Engineering/Interiors or Construction office experience preferred
